• POSITION: Dispatch Rider
• REPORTS TO: Product Manager (Max Meyer Business. Marketing Firm)

POSITION SUMMARY

The dispatch rider will deliver things to clients by validating orders, inventorying stock, and scheduling transportation. The dispatch rider will be in charge of both inside and outdoor deliveries, as well as the sending and collection of official documents, materials, parcels, and bulky objects as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE JOB

• The Dispatch Rider job description should include a number of functions and roles, including:
• Keeps clients informed by notifying them of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status, as well as answering inquiries.
• Responsible for calling consumers to confirm the delivery address.
• Responsible for picking up and safely delivering things to consumers on time.
• Responsible for collecting payment for purchased items after delivery to the consumer.

Required Skill or Experience

• A minimum of secondary school leaving certificate.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider or in a related position with an active motorcycle licence.
• Experience with relevant routes.
• Must appreciate motorcycles and be an experienced rider.
• The ability to communicate, read, and write.
• Organisational and multitasking skills
• Ability to operate under pressure.
• Possess strong numeracy abilities for delivery and spending records.
• Polite and capable of getting along with others.
